We already make almost all types of ammo for our arty. Base bleed, boat tail etc. We don't make the rocket assisted V-LAP rounds or the GPS or Laser guided rounds. This is one area that needs investment ASAP. We cannot be dependent on imports for critical ammo needs. Take the money out of this tender and invest there. Or better yet get the Israelis to do a JV on that with manufacturing in India.
