I'm not ssure ths is a productive line of thinking now. It is an enormous masterstroke. Even I was taken aback. This one finishes off modi. And it proves that Congress is the supreme political strategist of the country. Within 4 years they demolished a massive political attack from an extremely capable player like Modi.

Analysis and ANALysis are two very different things. You are doing ANALysis. PG will ensure that BJP returns to power with over 75 seats in UP.

Nnope. Now the battle is between the maha gathbandhan and Congress now. COngress has completely rejuvinated it's posiiton with a fresh new face that has linkages with the grand mother. BJP's face is......Yogi/ Bufoonand- he can't fight with this. And the timing is FLAWLESS> if they had launched her 1 year ago they'd have been devastated because everyone would have decided she is a replacement for RG's incompetenece. They instead let him build an image, make himself a bigger leader and then brought her in at the right time when he didn't need her support and splashed her fresh face right in the front. Superb timing. Lovely political maneuvres. If they win, they deserve to win. And even if mahagathbandhan does well, they're allies with cngress so they'll hammer out a deal with them in the end. BJP is finished man. This is the price they pay for putting that clown in charge of UP. If Rajnath singh had been CM things may have been different.

I would not like to disturb your wet dreams. When has Congress benefitted in a multicorner fight with BJP? The BSP-SP combination now stands weekend. Moumuna begum of Bengal had 42 seats of her own and she had hoped to win about 35 of them. That was the reason for BSP-SP alliance to go for 38 seats each to be able to make a claim above her for PMship of India. Now What?

They're not so stupid to think that they can be PM yet. There is only one vehicle that can stitch South and Centre and North and West- they're fighting to get a stronger ministerial portfolio for themselves. I think Mamta will once again get Railway. the Mahagatbandhan might get one of the big 3 like Mulayam did when he became defence min. In any case the following is the fight now:

how does him having BSC math or his brother being a devoted son of the soil serving his motherland prove he's not a moron (or that he's a true monk for that matter)?

Rahul Gandhi may not contest from Amethi this time. Local congress workers are saying this as per hints from HQ.
