High expectations you have on Modi. End of the day he is just another politician trying to win elections. Its all hot air
I used a big IF.
There are times when we become a prisoner of words that we speak. Today Modi has become a prisoner of his words like Yahya Khan did in 1971. His chest thumping on surgical strikes and his statements that, "yeh Modi hai jo jawaab dena jaanta hai".
If Modi/Doval duo have anticipated such a scenario considering Pakistanis past behavior , i am sure they might have worked on the response to be given in such cases . If not it will be tough to give a response like surgical strike where all the Pakistanis can do is to take international journalist to LoC to deny the strike and save face
We have to plan for two front war which will never happen if we attack Pakistan. But which General will ever discount a possibility and not cater for it? Please have patience and don't be armchair Generals. Let the professionals do their job. They will deliver.

Yes and that takes time. Have patience. Pakistan is moving its troops in anticipation. Let them stabilise. We will then know the gaps in their defences. We will plan our game accordingly. How do you kill a fly? Don't chase it and waste your energy. Make it fly around till it gets exhausted and sit in one place. Swipe it in one blow after that.
Let Modi/Doval guided by some best brains decide the time and place of their choosing .A retaliation much later after he takes oath is fine too .

He's at least optimistic in an optimistic sort of way.
The problem here is that Modi is only one person. The decision to take action is not exactly his only. Currently it is being majorly controlled by BJP "high command".
Because if our retaliation invites a small scale conflict, they fear the elections will be delayed. They are just politicians end of the day, no real concern for them when our jawans fall.
Obviously.
Modi cann't get his strongman creds.
And his opponents cann't call him "small chested man".
