Punjab is a very unique case with very few if any parallels in India. And crucially, Punjab Congress =/= Indian National Congress. On the issues that matter, Captain Saab is probably more aligned w/ Modi-BJP than his own High Command.

Also, due to the Days of Insurgency, a lot of Punjabi Hindus have some strange Stockholm Syndrome type love for Congress, without realizing that Indira Gandhi and Congress are almost 100% responsible for engineering the whole problem for petty political gain.

That's coz unlike RaGa, he's more clued in. He lives amongst his people. He doesn't stay isolated in Delhi, breathing the same rarified air like RaGa & his JNU type advisors.

In modern day Congress, Captain Saab is practically an anomaly. And also because he's an actual soldier. Otherwise there are chutiyas like Siddhu too.

The only interesting thing remaining is to see if 17th Lok Sabha have a leader of opposition or not ;)

Congress is struggling again to get that post, maybe they have to beg mercy of Modi for it as public didn't put trust in them for even Leader of Opposition.

Siddhu like most of the entitled class, almost all of whom are in the Congress is a self seeker. And also a joker.After this election he's going to be history.Capt Amarinder Singh will ensure that. Incidentally, Jyotiraditya Scindia, another of RaGa's bumchums trailing in Guna - his family bastion.

You know you sound like those illiterates on PDF. They equate capturing Wing Co Abhinandan as avenging their surrender & taking of 90k PoW in '71.

I can see why the Congress is in the state it is in.

Btw, if Karnataka is low on literacy, it must be low in economics too and other socio economic factors. All the more reason you ought to go back to Kerala. It'd strengthen your anti immigrant credentials too. The only drawback is no NIMHANS in Kerala.
