Islamic Republic of Afghanistan : News & Discussions

To think this lot ruled over us & a quarter of the world 75 yrs ago...

It's unbelievable - this distance travelled by the formerly Great Britain in such a short duration of time.

It seems amply clear to me that all those wokeisms I joked about have actually come to occupy prime real estate space in the hearts & minds of all Britishers.

Non binaries then isn't just a feature of their anatomy or mind, it belongs as much to their soul too, perhaps more.

It's a good thing they're out of the EU too lest they infect other Europeans with this contagion. @BMD

Looks like Ghani sabotaged ANSDF and betrayed Saleh and others.
that’s why Saleh and Tajiks are furious of him. While Abdulla 2 and Karzai due to their closer relationship with Mulla Omar, cut a deal with them at the expanse of Ghani and Saleh
They're all in it for the power & money to be made from it . With the US & NATO gone let's see how much will they extract from China.

Meanwhile let's brace for a bigger influx of drugs in Udta Punjab & narco money fuelled terrorism in Kashmir & the rest of India.

Saleh and Masoud are Tajiks

They can only create a small independent province

Pashtuns will never accept him as their leader

They have been bombing them for the last 20 years. Nothing changed. No point in wasting resources when you have the Chinese picking up pace..
Who says it needs top change? This is like an infinity chamber style hell for them that I'm suggesting.

This is all well and good but I'm not entirely sure they didn't want the Taliban back in control. I mean the Afghan army was supplied and trained by NATO and yet the Taliban overran them almost as fast as NATO pushed the Taliban out at the start of the war. Seems almost like they wanted to seek asylum instead of defending their own country.

ANSDF was sabotaged by higher ups.And I believe Ghani and Abdulla Abdulla have something to do with that.
They were instructed not to fight with talibs and to cooperate with them. They did exactly. Otherwise it was these ANA/ANSDF who were fighting with talibs since almost a decade. The Defence Minister was sidelined and Army Chiefs were changed every month. It’s not how wars are fought.

Coalition forces were active as instructors and advisers. All the ops were done entirely by ANA guys with the help of USAF.

@BMD have you watched Homeland season 4. Don’t you think It was pretty accurate in portraying the actual picture of Afghan-Pakistan-US quagmire ?

That wouldn't surprise me, something is definitely suspect, either way none of them should get asylum.

Homeland is good but I don't know how accurate it is relative to real life.

They should send arms to everybody in Afghanistan instead of aid and let them have a Battle Royale.

Oh don’t worry. only thing that is not in shortage in Afghanistan is weapons. I bet they’re are more chances of finding weapon caches on digging afghan soil than of finding water.
BTW have you read about your army chief ( or ex chief or something) stating that “Talis are not our enemies”. That must tell you something about how bunnies overrun Kabul without firing a bullet.
And it’s not just your country, CNN, Wapo, NYT and all other media houses that are backing current Bye-Done Govt are trying hard to legitimise and portray bunnies as Good guys and Ghani and others as corrupt and irrelevant entities
