The need of the hour is to lit up LoC and some parts of international borders in Punjab in garb of stopping terrorists and narcotics for which we have solid proofs to avoid pressure from World powers. We can use our own weapons and artillery which won't break our Bank or have any adverse affect on our economy. Anounce Rafale and other fighter planes aquisition which we already need, anounce construction of one more aircraft carrier and a substantial hike in defence budget with huge sums alloted for capital purchase and carry out Bar caps very near to borders with loose talks for LoC, PoK, etc.
Also provide weapons and monetory aid to all insurgent groups in Pakistan BLA, Sindh freedom fighters, TTP, etc.
Undercut Pakistani exports by offering same or better products at lower costs with access to Indian market for those countries who Stop imports from Pakistan..
All these won't have any adverse affect on our economy and but Pakistan will have to respond and go on a perpetual spending spree for weapons and increase defence budget which will break the backbone of Pakistani economy...

China is giving Pakistan financing on military equipment.

Do you think India with a big defence budget can buy 230+ Self Propelled Howitzers, 300+ modern tanks, radars, HQ9, HQ16, Frigates, in just 5 years?

This easy finance is also a big indirect help to Pakistan.

Pakistan today is forced to close LCs for Turkish/Italian equipment, but Chinese deliveries continue.

We should not be too happy with Pakistani loans.

Just for info the Delhi Jal Board alone has 57,000 crore rupees of debt. No one discusses the internal liabilities of India.

This means the 1.4 billion are at fault. Not Nehru or Modi.

So much that Pakistan Army looses all credibility in its efforts to Isolate Imran Khan

We don't really know whether China and Saudi have completely abandoned Pakistan

If we didn't have China breathing down our necks it'd have been a different story. Pakistan is self imploding . We ought to be considering what happens when the state of Pakistan loses it's writ . They're already exporting narcotics in a big way & targeting India . Narco terrorism is the next big thing we ought to think off especially in the context of the Punjab where Pegwant Mann & pAAP are as usual drinking & sleeping on the job .

Then there's the NE where thanks to the shenanigans of the Tatmadaw & the coup it launched around 3 yrs ago has undone all the peace there . With China fishing in troubled waters , we could face a resurgence in terrorism there . Plus there's a huge narcotics angle there as well . Then there's Bangladesh...

And yet Pakistan is struggling for Atta and Dal!! A country of 220 million doesn’t run on tanks and frigates. If China is such a big friend of Pakistan why doesn’t it give few billion $ for the flood rehabilitation?

BTW how do you know Pakistan is not paying for these defense equipments in some other form, like land ? China’s long term strategy has been to acquire land/assets in other countries.

Internal debt is bad, but it’s manageable. The real killer is debt in external currency. At present India’s external debt situation is quite manageable

Chinese have (correctly IMO) determined that Paks have not grovelled sufficiently to GCC's liquidity.

i.e

why come to us when faith bros can meet your "we wuz arabs" antics if you just get on floor much more flatter than you have so far?

We (China) are much more stressed liquidity speaking right now compared to them and will be for a year or more etc... so best go extra mile to make deal with others for your cake this time.

If there is greater falling out between GCC sheiks and paks, it benefits China's bargaining power with capital account bargaining later anyway.

i.e it may even be in China's interest to see Pakistan default a few times and become more desperate and long term worsen its ties with GCC, IMF (West)....and have the relevant proof of this show up in Pakistans surface politics and other such arena.

There is (still) a fairly significant GCC+Western streak in gernails psyche and contact book that CCP has high level of contempt for (in its manner of operation as it relates to Chinese interests)....and wants to have Paks squelch (by their own hand) as much as possible first so they can be as close to a 100% patron of CCP.

World is not fair, Pakistan is a leverage against India which wants to maintain an independent foreign policy. Pakistan screwed up big time out of its own incompetence, not because it was not getting support.

Point being India can’t open up on LoC while Pakistan is in economic turmoil, since it will be amounting to finishing off an asset of west and GCC. West and their ponies are not fools to not realise what we are up to. We are still long way from being a proactive and assertive power. Like the eastern front, we can only retaliate on western front.

Our saving grace is mounting circular debt of Paxtan, their ashraafs siphoning off money overseas and high fertility rate which will make anyone keeping paxtan aflot unbearable.

Typical American tactics.
They had the Europe on their side to stop the Russians.Then Crimean issue happened .Due to Germany the EU didnt follow the way of USA at that time and US was already made up their mind .Now Russians are running on fumes and their real threat is China.US playing all down in dirty way.They are selling oil at higher rate to Europe and investing in their weapon manufacturing.UK is also facing issues.
India took the right decision by staying neutral.

You are totally wrong.If India do that the foreign powers like China will pump money into Pakistan and current civil turmoil will expunge and every one will turn against us.
