I think this government is committing the same blunder as in the aftermath of the Pulwama episode. With Pakistan going all guns blazing on the propaganda front, isn't it prudent to launch a counter attack. After all, whatever defense of India's position on SM we're seeing as of now is purely a civilians & some media outlets led initiative. What's the Foreign Ministry, the Home Ministry & the PMO doing to counter the malicious and toxic official Pakistani narrative?
@Falcon ; @randomradio ; @Milspec ; @Arvind ; @BlackOpsIndia ; @Bali78 ; @RATHORE ; @Nilgiri ; @Austerlitz ; @mastaan

Pakistani narrative has no takers, the timing of GoI is absolute gold. Why to engage them and give them more credence?

Not sure how Indian public become well informed about 370 when a RAW chief calls it "Unnecessary and Uncalled For "
He has made a fortune by hobnobbing with Pakistani counterparts and authoring a book. He is from the Aman ki Aasha gang...If India stays on the current path.. there is no Aman nor Aasha for these guys...Their entire caravan is now stuck in quicksand...

The point he made is revoking the order does little to change the ground situation.

Recollect what Falcon has already said, the gameplan is POJK, not J&K. The Indian public doesn't know that.

Not really... Mao had made the decision to attack India when Dalai Lama was given asylum in 1959, and he saw the anti Tibetan rebel operations as training for the war to teach India a lesson.. Nehru was too complacent that China would not attack, and he was put into this complacency by fellow kashmiri pandit Lt. Gen Kaul. So, we had a lightly manned border with China, and were surprised when China attacked.. China was preparing for this war for 3 years, inspite of contrary diplomatic signals... The forward policy only convinced Mao that he was right in trying to punish India... Some details are from the book China Pakistan axis by Andrew Small..
You forgot VK Krishna menon the then defence minister who had blind love towards china.

Situation near border regions not good.obviously under these circumstances, there is no chance for talks.india has made a unilateral decision of article 370 removal based on Pakistani poor economy condition.you played it well but it will not end well for both of us.why erecting tel? A nuclear war? Now this is too much.we can fight any type of war but not nuclear war.hell no!

Well, what would you do if you were in Modi's shoes?
Frankly, this is the best time for us to hurt Pakistan & we are grabbing it.

Earlier, you held the cards with a lot of compromised politicians and Bureaucrats working for you & you took advantage.

It does feel different this time, doesn't it?
Not one person outside of smallest circle of Modi, Shah, Doval, Rajnath knows what is planned.
I am enjoying this new found confidence and aggression from our side.

Even you lot know it is DIFFERENT this time around and it's probably why IK and co are completely sounding unhinged.
From my POV, interesting times ahead.

I think these two statements made by Rajnath - one about Nuclear constraints are off and the other that now our intention is on POJK, are meant to warn off China and tell them to keep off this conflict.

It is similar to the "Mission Shakti", India's Anti-satellite weapon test, which was a warning to China to not meddle with our space assets.
