Or just talk of armed force non-readiness, possible pak retaliation, fear of nuke and finally agreed on doing lip services and no political benefit making from the incident. In return BJP will do so if opposition comes in power.

the problem for bjp now is that congress and opposition have said we support you fully. so, its either perfect victory or total loss for them. mid way is hard.

I don't think so. At least this much I know that this is not politics as usual. They will do something because the system/ deep state wants to. Politicians come and go. But the system remains.

Or perhaps he too lost faith in India's military strength and political will to punish Pakistan. That left talks only, talks in domestic circle and talks outside that.
