Kashmir : Counter Terror Operation Updates and Discussions

Isolation of Pakistan is a very good stand to take.
a) Historically many deals have been signed nothing has converted into money for them
b) we have managed to make progress of FTFA
c) Indo- Pak trade is very important for essentials

The only issue here is that our 'definiton' of islotaion is different from theirs. At half of this effect we'd have been trying to get back to mainstream. They have no problems being isolated because poor people take the brunt. We can't he,p their attitude.
Its not a good but it is a dated and dare I say failed stance. It feels like some bureaucrat in MoD/MEA rehashed something from 2008 because his boss asked him to prepare a statement without any direction. So he picked the safest bet --for himself. Something which as been a long talking point of India. After all, no one gets fired for buying IBM, right?

02:16 pm: I want to ask who released those involved in 1999 Kandahar incident? Who's responsibility is it? Our fight is against them. Why should a soldier die? Why can't there be a permanent solution?: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu

political point scoring started by congress. His fight is against the party that released the terrorists - not the terrorists themselves.

Terror attack a wake up call: Pulwama should prompt political class to rise above partisanship and counter proxy war on India

What Katju implies is that the political bosses on the prodding of the financial establishment in India have clearly determined that the economy is to be given priority over everything else, read retaliatory measures against Pakistan & let them wallow in their own juice as per our foreign office policy makers, with our security managers tasked with a holding operation denied any offensive role.( a year back the former NSA S.S.Menon in a conversation with Shekhar Gupta of The Print, in a televised interview shared here, hinted as much when questioned about the lack of Indian response post 26/11. After due obfuscation the way foreign Office personnel are wont to, he pointed out that in the past 3 decades or so, the only major economy to transform itself has been India with the exception of China - which did a better job & pointed out Pakistan and the journey they've undertaken in those 3 decades asking - " and where are they today?")

Hence, we will continue to see token measures against them as & when a major strike occurs with a lot of mutual back slapping & celebration - read surgical strikes.

Today is a weird day... I never knew my understanding will coincide with likes of Katju. I hate that guy with a passion.

It also means, in the truest spirit of passive resistance that would make M. K. Gandhi blush, we will never initiate anything coz our economy will always be WiP ( Work in Progress) & we shall , through such measures like FATF, UNSC, etc by our foreign policy establishment await the demise of the Pakistani state. That's our way of fighting this war of attrition.

Oh well, to me it seems Indian leadership is the very representative of Indian stereotype: The corrupt, filthy, incompetent "good boys/nice guys". Success of our democracy.

In the "honor" of this enlightenment, I will change my avatar to a more apt image....

It's also the Hindu baniya way of life. What else better describes our preservation of our way of life after a millennia of foreign conquests, in a way that would make that ultimate survivor of the Jurassic era - the humble cockroach proud.

I guess they are restricted unnecessarily. When Pakistan for instance went to route its own terrorists, they used fighter jets to bomb entire villages out of existance. I guess our forces are still required to ask the northern command before even using a grenade.
Pakistanis can bomb their citizens.... We cannot.... We live in a country in which a militant has higher human rights than that of a army man....call it as an advantage or disadvantage of a functional democracy...

Well, I have been living in a country with more functional democracy than India. There is more powerful media and bigger liberal lobby, But on certain matters, they know when to keep their mouths shut.

I have a serious question. Why are we even keeping our precious soldiers in Kashmir anyways?
Whoever said their lives were precious? Nowadays their deaths are.

P. S - please spread this news far & wide so that all fit reasonably educated male teens, who come from extremely poor backgrounds eligible to join the armed forces, do so, get a posting to J&K, get felled by such strikes, achieve martyrdom & provide a windfall to their poverty stricken family

IAF is always ready, they could have struck within 30 minutes of the attack itself.

Start boycotting his movies, but our South Indian citizens may not be too enthusiastic of that.

.

I have been doubting Kamal since his revealed the meaning of his party flag.

I am a big fan of his acting ,..

Though he tweeted he had been mis quoted by TimesNow., I still doubt he had nationalistic feeling.

In Political front I am becoming supporter of Rajini Kanth, who recently said his party won't contest central elections .

Rajini s maturity is far simplistic and for the common people .

While Kamal with his complexity screwing up his own political carrier , just like how he does in his movie . Too complex for people to understand .

It's said he has lost his wealth in film industry whatever he gained from it.

It's a pity what he ll turn out in political life.

Brigadier, Lt. Colonel and DIG among multiple soldiers wounded in ongoing encounter.

Pulwama terror attack showed time for talks over. Now, world will have to act: PM Narendra Modi
Even if China somehow accepts and declares Masood Azhar as terrorist, then what?
LeT is a UN,EU and US proscribed jihadi yet Hafeez Saeed enjoys more freedom than a normal citizen of Pakistan
