Kashmir : Counter Terror Operation Updates and Discussions

Modi was already boxed in because of his campaign promises and image; on top of that he piled further pressure on himself in his speeches - including promising revenge in the name of Ma Bhavani in Rajasthan.

I wouldn't be shocked if the points you listed are classic Modi Misdirection/Deception; with a plan to eventually settle scores when they see the chance.

You can't perpetually stay at maximum alert, or stay fully mobilized; especially with Pakistan's economy.

And Modi did exactly that - Misdirection and Deception

@Falcon, @Narendar Singh, I have seen many videos wherein the terrorists join the funeral of dead terrorists. Why can't we take out these guys thru sniper action. We now have NSG in the area. At least depute their guys to do this job. Kill these guys thru sniper strikes.
Terrorist funerals were always a recruitment ground for terrorists..... Why give the body in first place? If killed in an encounter fighting our forces then bury in an unmarked grave....

That's not gonna help.... Instead that is going to create more religious extremists

Nothing is gonna "help." That's not even the point anymore. Burning their bodies, if you aren't aware, presents a major religious dilemma for them and is a huge psychological deterrent. Muslim combatants are always deathly afraid of incendiary weapons and being burned to death instead of buried.

None of these *censored*s deserve a burial, nor should an inch of India's territory be wasted on burying them.

There was a beautiful line from the song Turn Turn Turn - the OST of Forrest Gump. There's a time for peace and a time for war. It's time to pummel the Kashmiris. No quarters given and none asked. Do away with all their discredited leaders particularly the Hurriyat.

I've just posted a WSJ report on the happenings in Xinjiang. Compare that to what we're doing in Kashmir. It's on two vastly different planes.

There will be a time for peaceful gestures but now's not the time. Now's the time for them to test & taste our steel.

I have a better idea. Take few trucks full of explosives and drive it in these funeral processions. Later blame it on ISIS.

Holy ****, are you for real right now ? We don't do snipers because of "Lok kya kahenge" and we are supposed to do this ?
The difference is sniper is a too precise weapon and it can be only attributed to Indian Army... A truck full of explosive are associated with ISIS or alike ... So who will take the blame then? Rather who it can be blamed upon?
Its precisely Log Kya Kahenge.

Not to mention, we can than ban these types of funerals "in the public interest and public safety".

Don't we need the usual video/audio drama of "ISIS" claiming responsibility ? Don't we need a face for ISIS in India ? and wouldn't the "ISIS" need a convincing motivation ?
What you are suggesting isn't that far off from the Ikhwans of the 90s, except for truck bombs and stuff. Why were they dismantled in the first place ?
