3000kms... 😱😱😍😍
Single engines and flying over sea for that long. That what makes this a bigger shot in the arm.

4528kgs...😱😱
And some idiot called it 3 legged Cheetah.... 😡😊😊

In this configuration, it has to take off with limited fuel and then refuel mid-air.
Even now ie while we are presenting MK 1 in Air shows
We are Not forthright about 2 aspects

1 ) BVRAAM and
2 ) SPJ

I dont understand why

Because those can be customer choice. The Malaysians won't agree for Israeli solutions, but the Vietnamese will be fine with it. Some will expect Indian solutions, and so on.

We aren't far away from our own indigenous solutions. Uttam AESA, Astra mk1 and mk2, will be available for Malaysia as they start recieving their order after 3to4 years from now if they order now.... 😊
And that should be emphasized but don't know why HAL doesn't pitch it..

He was refering to the SPJ and BVR. Some air forces make their own choice regarding this. And it's unclear how long it will take for the IAF to clear BVR for export, plus an export model will have to be made. Otoh, our SPJs will be IAF-specific, an export model will be needed here as well.

6 BVRaams.... 😱😊😊

In our scenario LCA can fly closer to Pakistan and can use missiles on Flankers flying a bit deeper. So number of bvrs won't be a big matter for us.

But a selling point for exports.

It's a bit misleading because 2 of them would be the ASRAAM/Python 5.
