Onus is on us to make them evict not sit forever. In Doklam we could sit forever and it was on Chinese to make us leave.

This is because of the incompetence and corruption of the government and MOD babus, they have money to do emergency purchases but not to clear the dues of HAL and then it give it autonomy/disinvestment.
Why the hell did we buy 400 or more so T90's instead of more M777's when everyone knows that it is an absolute necessity, just to keep the PSU lobby backed by Russia happy?. We are playing with fire by still using OFB/PSU produced defective ammunition, weapons and monopoly. BJP needs to reforms instead of doing media management.
To whom it may concern- One thing history will teach you is that a smart enemy will always attack you when you are down and out, but it also teaches that you resist and fight no matter what, if you don't the enemy will arm-twist you every time you are in trouble. We can't afford THAAD, and it can't stop Chinese IRBMs anyway. It's a pointless acquisition.
If the Russians have to pick sides based on the economics of their exports, then it's obvious China will be their first choice. India's weapon imports window is slowly coming to a close after all. Otoh, the Chinese need for oil and gas is currently much, much higher than India's, and the Russians have already signed multiple deals with them.
India's oil and gas market will take a decade to tap with oil and gas pipelines. By then the relations may change once again.
Iron Dome is entirely useless to protect Delhi.
The problem for the PLAAF is the lack of air bases, the difficulty of their terrain and inferior force multipliers.
I too would wait for official confirmation. And yes I am also not in much favour of THAAD acquisition, it has failed to give desired results in many incidents recently.

We will buy more M777s once the order for 145 is complete. We have a requirement for a few hundred more. It obviously doesn't make sense to buy more right now, when the first contract is yet to be delivered.
And we most definitely need T-90s because we have a tank deficiency. Our oldest T-72s are already 35-40 years old. We will need another 400-500 tanks after this order. Plus the factory will be idle if we don't order more.

Isn't THAAD only used under American supervision though? All those countries with THAAD have American soldiers operating it. How can we allow THAAD on Indian land since it goes against indian sovereignty??
Investment should happen more in Pirthvi ABM rather than THAAD. And otherways, India can get more SPYDER to be deployed along LAC.
