If our army can acknowledge the dead, I believe they would have told about MIA as well (captured/missing). A lot of rumours are doing rounds. Hell we don't even know yet what's the deal with guns.
Logically speaking, 20 + 35 (based on official figures) dead, co died, army had guns but didn't use, I find it extremely hard to believe.
These kind of news demoralise people and that might just be the intention. Unless the credibility is proven, these kind of news should be taken with a pinch of salt.

They are even disclosing the rank and Indian Army too did not issued any statment of anyone in Chinese captivity till the time they were released.
Wait for a day or two someone will release names too if China don't leak the videos of them as captives.
As Indian soldiers and ITBP seem to be experts when it comes to walking into an ambush, and taken captive, India should stop patrolling areas until they dominate it, to avoid further embarrassment.

we are not showing any one in bad light only reacting to facts. This is not pakistan and armed forces are not holy cows. If these are wrong why is the govt not giving a rebuttal?

Given the kind of propaganda we are seeing, it is extremely unlikely that the Chinese had prisoners and they did not leak a video of it. That would have given them the opportunity to rub it in big time. The way this entire thing is going, I see no reason for the Chinese to hold back on this and let India quietly bring them back. Something smells wrong with this story. Moreover, if this is true, atleast let a credible handle corroborate this.
Don't you see, there has been zero offical statement from army so far, everything from sources, sources and something "offical" too is released to selected journalists instead of offical PC or even Press Release or Tweet (unless I missed it) Not even a letterhead or signature is used in those supposedly offical statements from army.
