Line of Actual Control (LAC) : India & Tibet Border Updates

Doesn't the finger 4 to finger 8 tops give them the ability to dominate the DBO road?
Our army and government is AOK with that?
Also, Finger 4 to Finger 8 is disputed territory, so China cannot unilaterally occupy the place with military.
Is that not changing the status quo? Is that not loss of land?

I am confused as f*** right now.
Will be really helpful if some one with proper knowledge lays out the actual situation and the probable psyche of the administration.

How do you initiate a conflict? make unacceptable demands to the other party.
Unacceptable demands like telling China they have not intruded into Indian territory?

As per your logic he should have asked for Tibet, instead he surrendered even Galwan, that's unacceptable only to Indians unless we are the other party. Are we sir?!

Are we sure that IA won't go on patrols past finger 4? Is it set in stone that we won't be aggressive in future. We already pushed the Chinese to the point of getting violent with us. And considering now Modi has given free hand to the IA let's see how things unfold from hereon.

If that be the case, in todays day & age where most people are informed about the situation which was unimaginable some 20 - 21 years back, shouldn't the statement have highlighted the facts? From 100% strategic point of view, if the statement mentioned that China has illegally occupied F4 to F8 & we will not give up on the land, can you imagine the difference that would have caused? It would have created a justification for IA to go up to the said F8 area. If IA now goes there for patrol, the situation as per today's statement will be, India crossing into Chinese land as, as per official statement, India didn't have land loss. So, what is the locus standi of the IA now?
How will they go for a patrol there without violating the already accepted LAC?

Trying to understand this, if nobody entered why we fought? Did Indian PM declared we invaded Chinese territory and those jawan were aggressors?

Are we going to bring amendment to territory of India officially recognizing Aksai Chin as Chinese territory? If not then Chinese are sitting right now in our territory and PM is saying otherwise.

Is it possible Defence Minister presented him wrong facts?

Is this not direct validation of Chinese claims where they claimed sovereignty over Galwan Valley?

Is this the cost of getting back those hostages? That you can come, attack, mutilate, take hostages but we will present India as aggressor if you release them?

Is it not treason? What was discussed in those unofficial summit keeping Indian public at dark? Was it this? Someone should move court, let government explain and get countered for claims and truth come out.

I am pretty sure they didnt dicsuss anything important at the meeting. Given that CPI etc were present, GOI knew that proceedings of meetings will anyways be passed on to China.

The controversial statement of PM and the widespread criticism of the same is going to force this government to take a strict and overt action against China for all to see. As Modi can tolerate criticism on every issue barring two - National security and Hindutva as these two are core to his election victories and he knows it very well. Interesting times ahead.

PM gave whole map you are worried about secrets in All Party Meet!

How official could it get? China will use this as proof whenever you ask them to vacate Aksai Chin, something you show on your map.

This is way worst than Sharm al Shiekh! I don't understand how anyone drafted it, or he went impromptu? He validated every single claim of China and more.

I think for the time bein, , we will only be pursuing talks. Given that chinese have already beefed up the borders there is no way we can kick them out without major casualties or even worse it would end in stalemate with no gains.

Would wait for another 2 to 3 months or so for the issue to die down. I believe once the winter sets in then we might see some similar action by India. At this point of time, element of surprise is lost and they are strongly entrenched. Best bet is to pick our time of choosing & place and go about doing our job.

Second thing we need to get ministers like parrikar who were more pro-active. Defence minister post should not given just for sake of showing one's political standing in the party. We need ministers who are full time on the job not those who spend time campaigning and working on politics. It should be a full time professional job period. I am surprised for all the big talk PM does he cannot find competent ppl for ministers job.

Don't post meme like that. He can't do a damn thing to Pakistani and Chinese but he and his slaves will drag you into cases wasting your time. Take it seriously, not joking.

I guess I am too damn pissed.

Long time ago there was a boy who was medically ineligible to join the forces. He pushed back his tears and made peace with his fate.
That same boy is now thinking - was it for the best.

Chinese are far from home and they know it, they are confident on our overthinking the situation and our political leaderships under reaction.

The day we decide to accept the loss and press on, they will capitulate like a pack of cards. A time will come when we can absorb our braves human and economic cost, until then let them have the illusion of dominance.

Hold on to your anger and maintain your patience..we are almost there and the Chinese know it...stop commenting like we lost the entire sub continent, we have just started to rattle the lizard, nothing is permanent and they have overestimated there capabilities against our free society.

Please stop demonising people like shukla, we are not the chinese to kill or organ harvest all descending voices,we have to start growing the capacity to accept all pro and cons ,left and right voices equally and discriminate them.

I don't normally put out my views here but a couple of glasses of vodka to our fallen wants me to do it since it's starting to look like you people are losing hope, rest assured we are doing *censored*ing great for a chaotic nation like ours, the Chinese don't know what they have gotten into...We are a collection of nations with varying cultures that cannot be invaded by a single ideology, it's already been done and failed by many who were much more barbaric then these brainwashed Chinese swines can ever imagine to be, no amount of planning by them will succed our chaios...they have bitten too much.

We haven't even started yet, cheers to our fallen soldiers...I ran out of old monk and vodka is all that is left...sorry for the long post, just wanted to get this off my chest...mods you can delete this if you deem this inappropriate...*censored* China.

Just wait for few more months, and Chinese might have a new airport in that region to counter DBO. They have machinery and tool and money and can go with that project.
