I am all for fighting a war but " selling the idea of war " to our people is not easy
We can only sell them the idea of
"A Justified war "
You have no idea how the rabble rousers will behave once casualties start coming in because the Two front war will happen
So let us spend our time and money and energy for Maximum prepration
By the way , I dont see Chinese being convinced of themselves securing a win
Otherwise they would have started shelling and bombing
If a Global alliance does get formed in a few Months or if Trump gets re elected the ODDS will be in our favour
If Barkha Dutt or any of her ilk try their stunts throw them in prison & flush the key away. Ideally atm, we would want journalists to be part of the government's gravy train & spin propaganda but this government has other ideas. Surprisingly, it came to power & retained it thru some adroit media management.
Nobody is asking him to walk into war blindfolded and with hands tied to the back. Let him make a calculated assessment on chances of inflicting losses to Chinese in limited border engagement to secure our claim lines and if he needs time to build up capability and international support, let him do so. However it would be foolhardy to present a view that Chinese have not encroached into our territories and hence we don't need to do anything. yes true Indians will support a justified war, but it will be difficult to justify war if we pretend Chinese have not given us any justification.
It is still unknown if the Indian public will accept all the bodies coming home. We have plenty of people who are more Gandhian than Gandhi himself. Then there's all the cross-border IW.
All I can say is during a major war with any country, or even a limited war, all social media must be blocked. And MSM must also be limited to what the govt allows you to see. Most of the internet can be blocked too, with only emergency and essential services functioning.

Did I not tell you that we also had their soldiers as captives as they flowed down the river to our side. The biggest truth is yet to come out. The PLA casualties are much higher. Many have died during treatment or while being taken to hospitals. On 16th we counted 46 stretchers from our side only and many more were removed from their side. The heli evac flights continued till evening of 16th on PLA side. The total dead on chinese side are nearing 80 and many more injured.
God only knows what the Biharis did to PLA that night. The battle must have been the most brutal and barbaric in the history of modern warfare.
