Line of Actual Control (LAC) : India & Tibet Border Updates

I still say ,the chinese know that their true adversary is the US and not India , only winning power in this battle is the US.
Chinese dont wanna lose their gains for some barren land.
This is just posturing for something else.
They are already getting cornered from all sides and they will lose their remaining support due to being aggressive in such a pandemic

Yeah they started as posturing but after IA response they are increasing the build-up. One thing leads to another and some miscalculation happens we may end up with war which was never planned.

Me do not understand all this dhoti shivering, little bit dhoti shivering is good but not this much. Fear is a good thing lol.

Unless one assumes that IA does not or will not take into account deployment of hostile assets and their capabilities to inflict damage while deploying own assets is foolishness

I no general but if I am threatened by artillery and MBRLs I will opt for reverse slope defence , put my troops and equipments ( or move them ) along slope of an elevated terrain such as a hill, ridge, mountain, etc . There is no shortage of such geological features in the said sector and can be taken advantage of as and when the situation demands.

This is just one of the tactics I can think of to negate MBRLs etc . And I am no military . Those in service will have much better ideas .

Dhoti shiering was a term used reneltly to degenerate Brahmins and their valour during Islamic wars. When Rajputs gave up, Brahmins fought till death with dhoties on and without personel armour. Please read the history written by muslim invaders about how they fought the Brahmins by first sending in the recent converts thru sword to fight the brahmins. The new converts were asked to show their alligance to islam by fighting for Islam and die for Islam. They were always under the sword of Islam. Those invaders first used these converted Hindu islamists from lower castes to tire out the Rajputs and Brahmins in battle and than let loose their hardcore warriors against the tired out Brahmins/ Rajputs. Please read the ransacking of Somnath Temple by muslim invaders.

Communications are always on. Even the US and USSR never "miscalculated". There's never miscalculation between nuclear powers, thats why even India and Pakistan never miscalculated

They didn't? Cuban crises? Kargil? When you have advantage and window of opportunity you would definitely opt for going down in history.

None of them is complete/inducted. Take more time, use Google and list (make a comparative list to understand massive efforts). Just list major assets for 3 years, 2008, 2014 and 2019. You will get the answer. There are numerous threads here that details the lethargic and at par performance if not worst than Congress when it comes to decision making so please spare the patriotism of this administration.

If after all that talk and trust from public all you do is lip service, keep defence purchase pending undermining security of nation your talk of Akhand Bharat is as useless as Gareebi Hatao.

HM gave statement in house, good he must, you should not hesitate claiming what's yours and then after 4yrs of haggling you order 36 Rafales while losing more planes what kind of service you doing to nation? By the time those Rafales are inducted they won't serve even for stop gap arrangement.

Talk all you want, milk it politically as much you want couldn't care more as long as you are acting decisively and not focusing entirely on bullshiting public completely.

No, if you are not so eager to brand anything you don't think or want to read as blasphemous you'll get the point.

Both China and Pakistan have our territories and we have never intended to get them back, not even during war time because we are weaker economically, we want to focus on more important things like raising living stranded of public (including army) than to go unprepared into a bloodbath that we may or may not win. That's the reason why we have avoided escalation with Pakistan not what people feed you on SM.

PM Modi brought in a bold change of giving it back to Pakistan overtly but that too have diminishing returns and after last year's raid when he thought he will steam roll Pakistan he was stopped in his tracks, maybe he wanted to avoid the bloodbath. Anyway so we are still following that strategy of hiding your strength, biding your time. If we can do it with much worst neighbour, that kills our soldiers, civilians every other day even when being a smaller one why suddenly we want to needle another neighbour, that may prove to be a capable enemy (though I believe they will lose badly, still).

PM Modi has 3 agendaless summits with Xi. This is keeping whole nation in dark and anyone else but Modi would be branded traitor overnight. What was discussed, what was promised is unknown to country, he is not a king to do this but we all trust he has only good interests of India at heart so nobody objected. This is unprecedented and it is aimed at solving issues quietly without leaking it to public and putting all the work at risk. A very clever though opaque strategy.

This all indicate we were dealing with China the way it should be dealt. But why now out of nowhere start needling them? Maybe some genius like few here gave the idea of negotiating from position of strength by embarrassing China on world stage and show what we are capable of. Well they have called the bluff, you are negotiating from position of weakness now while risking a conflict when your country is engaged domestically at much bigger issues.

It's amazing how nobody, nobody at all here or other places calls for accountability of actions. If there are riots nobody is held accountable, everything is blamed on left, if Pakistan strategy is not working well you are anti national, if China issue crops up from Nehru to everyone questioning the goof ups is overnight branded traitor.

This much boot licking of any leader or idea makes people dumber while the one who took country for ride escapes the responsibility.
I am not going to reply to your entire rant cum essay it's too tiring but just to let you know all but one of the things which I mentioned(Agni V) were pending till Modi took over. He started the procurement processes, started and sped up infrastructure building! I am pretty sure you know he doesn't have a magic wand to make things appear instantly out of thin air. For e.g Rafales are not going to be delivered within a week/month of placing the order. Its not your Amazon orders you see. It takes time!

You mean all the quad plus meetings .. and gilgit baltistan weather bulletins?
Those among many other things. If you see headlines from China or follow Chinese ambassador on Twitter they very hopeful, they didn't want India to go to US group firmly that's why even with so much bitterness at times Xi has treated PM Modi everytime very specially. That's why an anonymous troll like me thought this could be an opportunity to cement relationship between two countries if not forever than just for a decade, giving us enough breathing room to tackle them if they try anything fancy.

Can @Falcon @vstol Jockey or someone else knowledgable please shed light on whether enough number of Agni V's have been inducted. If not how are we supposed to hit Beijing/Shanghai should China hit Delhi with whatever MBRLs that are being discussed here?

I hope our newly formed cyber agency is working perfectly. GOI should also consider to hire some civilian crackers, like from mallu cybersoldiers etc and provide them equipments to increase the strength of our Cyberforce.

Delhi can be hit from Dhamchok with a 350 KM range rocket.
Distance between Delhi & Simla is 350 kms. Demchok is much further up North. Why don't you guys at least refer to the map before making such elementary errors ? It's actually laughable that we've members here extolling on in depth details of what we ought to do, how we can Trump China & how will China react without getting even the basics right.

LOl, settling Kashmir is an important aspect of good relations with China according to them. So just a genuine question say 2morrow Pak comes and carries out a major terror attack. The Chinese expectation from us would be of restraint. So would you be okay with India accepting blows from pak for another decade without retaliation?

To tell the truth.. these pin pricks are not what precipitated the crisis, they are even immaterial...What precipated the crisis is India's decision to do away with Article 370, and also designate ladakh as union territory. This screwed up all of China's plans ( China does not believe it has a border with India in ladakh.. acc. to China the shared boundary is only 2000 km) ..So, what would have been a slow motion plan of loss of ladakh to China, has been fast forwarded by China. So, what happens now will decide whether we retain Nubra valley.. and Ladakh.. So, Modi has precipitated a clash, but it is the decision of 5 august 2019 that has caused it...

Thanks for calling that out. You are right. I confused Pulam Samuda for Demchok. Pulam Samuda is under Indian control. That said, Demchok is about 480-500 KM or so from Delhi.

Lastly, if they do want to target, there are places in TAR which can allow distances of 350 or less. Consider this :

Cuban crisis?Didn't lead to war between US and USSR and it was solved before it could turn ugly. Tell me one incident where US and USSR directly fought during the cold war.
Kargil was before being a nuclear power.
Even post parliament attack it was a build up and not a war.
Both countries know how much to escalate and where to stop.

What else can we call these type of people.
Look at @screambowl , a man from right at the border. He used to whine and do conspiracy theories. But when it comes to fight and war, he is as chill as ice. No hysteric mourning , nihilistic whining. Nothing, nada. Just a calm as cool as cucumber head.

While some of us looks like almost wetting their pants. This is not how you fight and kill the enemy.
GOI is calm and rightfully so. Let the Chinks guess what is our next step gonna be.
Stop this bitching moaning and crying

Brother, Infrastructure is the keyword. Bordering states of PRC already detest her, we condemn her neo-colonial mindset. But there will come a time when the far flung natives will question, what if... Right across the Indo Chinese border.. We will stand by you(us) till our last breath, but we need to compete with them on the ground level.
