Excellent !!!! ... this will be an interesting exercise !!!
I do have a question here - This is a first time I'm seeing that IAF MiG29s are fielded in an international exercise outside of India - Correct?.

Great to see that india is just not a one trick pony when it comes to defending the skies and besides the SU30s the Mig29s are equally adept in tackling world class fighters. I believe such international exposure will only make them better.

So this raises a question whether the SU30 boys who learn new tricks and capabilities of foreign fighters, share their learnings with fly boys of other squadrons, flying other jets.

Livefist also recently reported that the IAF’s keenness to explore a Meteor fit on its upgraded Mirage 2000 won’t be working out. MBDA has responded saying the MICA NG would be a better fit, given the Mirage 2000’s radar and fire control system wouldn’t be able to exploit the Meteor’s full capabilities. India’s upgraded Mirage 2000 fleet comes with a MICA IR/RF missile package similar to the one chosen for the Indian Rafale. The MICA NG is being made available to the latter platform too.

How long will take make Mica NG production ready?

Since the outer shell is the same, should happen fast right?

Entry date 2024 or 2025.
Since then the legacy MICA remains in production.

The inside of the missile is a harder task to develop than the outer.
Active seeker will be an AESA one. IR seeker a brand-new.
The single stage booster replace by a two stage one.

5 to 6 years is not so much after all for a nearly brand new weapon.

Yea.. I mean no integration & certification tests for Mica operators there by reducing to operationalize.

Shows that the Meteor will be superior to the MICA NG also.

Of course.
A 160kg missile, with air breathing motor will always be better than a 112kg one, even with dual pulse motor in term of range.
But MICA can also be used in dog fight, something nearly impossible with Meteor.
one is for short/medium range in a single weapon, the other for long range.

On this episode, retired Indian Air Force Air Marshal Harish “Fulcrum 1” Masand phones in from Central India to describe the MiG-29 and his key role inducting the Fulcrum into the IAF. He describes the variants, weapons, and how it was so easy to fly that he was able to put on aerial demonstrations with only 20 hours of experience in the Fulcrum.
