Mirage 2000H, MiG-29UPG, Jaguar DARIN III - Medium Multirole Aircraft of IAF

Perhaps you will increase the MTOW with this engine?
That will require strengthening the wings. The wings can have two more pylons outboards and two wingtip rails. But we dont know how much dissimilarity the control systems can handle and what will be the cost of opening and strengthening the wings. But yes, these engines will force the CG to move forward and somekind of wingtip devices are needed to bring the CG backwards. Maybe fixed ECM pods will be a better option.

If a good proposal comes from IHI, this can get easily revived.
You gentlemen are forgetting the cost part. Japanese items don't come cheap. They may quote a price equal to what Honeywell did & that's the best case scenario. Besides look at how the Shinmaywa deal progressed? It's been 6 years the negotiations commenced. We still are no way closer to signing the deal. Cost is one of the reasons.

Let me tell you that this time you are wrong. Why have I made this statement. You will know very soon.

Is "permanently" a concept that exists in India?

Our Jaguars went All the Way to ALASKA
for Red Flag in 2016 along with Su 30s and
Tankers

Indian Air Force Su-30MKIs, Jaguars Shine in Red Flag Alaska Exercise

So the existing engines do work

It is a case of Cost Benefit analyses if
Re engine proposal has to work

By the way why dont you Retire all your Mirage 2000s

We would gladly buy them :ROFLMAO:
Hope it's for the Jaguars & not Shinmaywa.

Do we really need Shinmaywa

I doubt the IAF will pay for so many changes. The engine modification alone will cost a lot.
another four months and thats all.

So MSA's getting the new Japanese engine?

Honestly, I hope you have both single and twin engine designs at the ready.

The IAF has only 1 project which requires single engine, MWF. Whereas there are three projects at the minimum that need twin engine between the IAF and IN.
Yes, MSA has two designs. SE and TE with similar performance.

Apart from the Rafale & TEDBF what are the other TE projects between the IN & IAF?
