Off-Topic Chit-Chat

We should ban community certificate first.

Then after a few generations anyone can claim any caste.

Then caste will die down . No quotas .

Even though I am from OBC , i don't like idea of giving quotas . It deprive s those who are honestly putting efforts to come up.

They end up facing stigma in college & job.

In today's world all facilities are available.

It only takes a strong determination to come up.

Have to implement uniform civil code.
One law for one country.
Religious sentiment s should be beneath the law of country.

where are you sitting ? in ITPL ? posting from there ? what is your PDF handle ?
I am sitting in Vancouver and my PDF handle is identical.

most government of india backed PDF posters sit in ITPL.
I don't know that.

You guys know sarthak ganguly ? i have MET him with a CHANGED face. in bangalore. and i was just doing a job there.
I have read his posts on PDF. And you sir are showing signs of mania and psychosis.

Do the following things :

1. Get your home checked for Carbon Mono Oxide. It is dangerous and also a hallucinogen because it reduces oxygen supply to brain.
2. Get yourself checked for schizophrenia.
3. Get your home checked for infra-sonic sound. It can also cause delusions about someone watching you. Oh and in some cases it can also effect your bowel movement.
4. Stop taking any mind altering substances that you might be taking.
5. Check you blood pressure. Also ask the doctor if you had a stroke or something similar.

And 'he' is out on an agenda, which I know very well, and I agree with his approach. But unfortunately, our brethren here are also too ignorant to understand that being a martyr is the stupidest thing. Also,. why I do go ballastic on religious and caste based comments, there is a reason. You allow a space for the divisions to crop up, you will have them being exploited. Which is, unfortunately, happening in India.
With all due respect, I do not think going ballistic is the right approach. Actually after wrangling with this discomfort of being "Different" in almost every country, I have come to an understanding that this kind of differences and division in culture and ideals are very common and religion is just one and really just simply one symptom of a much bigger underlying issue -- and so is caste. The issue is that of a vent or small and harmless grinding without a major upheave.

I will prefer a country and society which avoids another Ayodhya Riot while possibly 'discharging' communal tensions with heated words and heck some fists thrown in for good measure. You know, in football thats how players sometime settle differences. With a charged but controlled fist fight. I have studied the other side as well. People being really pissed off at a particular community for long time because of many many reasons with no vent to their frustration and finally they do something really really stupid. Infact this is the reason I find a 'PC culture' really really harmful. It trades small short-time risks with massive long-time risk.

We should have a mechanism in which those who feel oppressed or marginalized or simply frustrated can really vent out and achieve this catharsis with limited damage --to themselves and to others. And heck should promote this. Have fractions and grindings within a society which look ugly is not that bad. The alternative is often worse.

According to what's already out in the media, it will be 48-72 hours for the Pivot Corps to cross. And within a week, the Strike Corps will also cross. Hellfire said 48 hours after the Pivot Corps crosses, so that's more concrete.

Isnt 48-72 hrs for the pivot corps a bit to long? another 26/11 happens, wouldn’t 72hrs be enough for US or any other international player to pacify india like it happened last time?

If the military want war, then the IAF can start the festivities from day 1.

As long as the buildup isn't slow, obvious and ineffective as Op Parakram; I think India can only be "pacified" if it allows itself to be "pacified" next time. I really hope that when the next situation occurs (because it's honestly when, not if), India stands up for itself and for once doesn't fall for the "restrained, pacified, responsible, peaceful" bullshit routine.

Sounds interesting; can you guide me to the post/thread?
Its some lame discussion on the green place, I forgot which thread sorry. As you know randomradio and his infinite patience, he was bullying some troll.

I have no hopes that next time we have a 26/11 level incident it will be any different.

Au contraire, the building blocks for Cold Start are finally starting to fall in place. Aren't you following the procurement of the Apaches, the M-777 howitzers, & other procurements which @randomradio can elaborate about , re alignment of the IA into IBG's, etc .

You can expect all this to be in place , broadly by 2023-24.

Between certain key procurements (along with reshaping of the Army & testing of doctrinal concepts) and the sheer amount of cumulative pressure from years of inaction (and the current Government's big mouthed/muscular stance); I'm pretty much convinced that the next time something happens, the Government won't have any choice but to do something.

Had they been willing to use the TNWs, you would have seen an unprecedented spike in violence in Kashmir. What does that tell you? Present level of violence is hardly a fraction of the peaks of 90s.

That doesn't explain the aftermath of the events of 26/11.It's one thing to post such explanations out there but can you try explaining why didn't we cross over in response to the 26/11 attacks? Kashmir wasn't simmering then too. It was more or less similar to what we see today.

Some commentators are of the view that the political leadership chickened out. Some are of the view that the IA sent confused signals-that they lacked confidence due to lack of adequate equipment, didn't wargame such a scenario, etc. Something which didn't inspire much confidence in the political leadership of the day.
