From an outsider's perspective, it is unreasonable for India to only deploy two Su-30 aircraft to respond to Pakistan's counterattack after India has bombed the Pakistani border. Therefore, the Indian Air Force and the media have collectively lied, but this is not the case.

Does that mean India only maintains four fighter jets in the air, knowing that Pakistan will launch a large-scale counterattack? Do you think it's reasonable?

You seems to lack basic understanding of air combat. It is understandable as your nation never had actual air combat for few generations. Now importing retired western pilots to show the basics.

Back to the topic, combat air patrol (CAP) is conducted by dividing sectors and deploying pairs of fighters in each. We had pairs of Mirage 2000 and Su-30. Which is extremely reasonable scenario. The day before, while we were conducting a deep strike inside Pakistan, they were performing CAP with a pair of F-16s. We launched decoy fighters in the Rajasthan to divert their attention.

Even today, you can read about the CAP conducted by Russians with Mig-31 and Su-30 over Ukraine. It is simply not logical to have too many fighters in the air waiting for an attack.

Our Gazwa neighbours have recently claimed that their JF-17 shot down multiple Qatari Rafales in an exercise. This proves their obsession regarding Indian Rafales.

You're right. What if Pakistan launches an attack one day? India will quickly lose control of the air and its planes will be easily destroyed at the airport

It's quite a large air base.So the damage this tweet showing is not correct
Officially no operational asset was damaged

However,I will certainly say that Pakistan's Security apparatus is getting more incompetent and spinesless by every passing day.

India will quickly lose control of the air and its planes will be easily destroyed at the airport

It's not really possible for Pakistan or even India to completely destroy the Air combat assets on ground.
To destroy it completely,Pin point strike at every hardened bunker is required and for that you will need heavy Strike Group to get the job done
But the problem is both sides have deployed long range air defence systems and that group can't pass through them undetected.

2 planes? We lost just one Mig and destroyed one F-16. That trade off proved quite good for us. 2 MKIs on CAP stopped whole 8 strong F-16 fleet was also very impressive.

No Pakistani Viper was shot down but dopes keep claiming to cope with their loss.

2 PAF F-16 pilots ejected, and one was beaten to death on the ground by locals. Whether an F-16 was shot down or not, an F-16 pilot was killed.

I'm not ignoring Pakistanis used Murrcan made Vipers during the confrontation that got one, maybe two, IAF fighters. But no Pakistani F-16 was shot down and that is a fact.

I'm not ignoring Pakistanis used Murrcan made Vipers during the confrontation that got one, maybe two, IAF fighters. But no Pakistani F-16 was shot down and that is a fact.

Maybe try flying all the 18 C/Ds from Jacobabad then.

They are saying 3 already retired aircrafts have been damaged.

The FT-7s are most probably being accepted imo.

The Mirage III/V there are more or less reserves only. So they will say that they were already non operational.

I doubt any significant aircraft has been damaged.

They accepted loss of three non operational aircrafts
Though in previous attack on air base in Karachi,they hid the loss of AWAC.
So i will not be surprised if later some major loss is revealed.
The chances of internal involvement is also there.Such attacks are coordinated with internal help.
