How you can assume that its a bullshit. Based on the advancement we see on civilian engineering products from chinese side, i cannot assume that their military things are just exagerated items.
Also its better to overestimate the chinese products and develop counter measures than underedtimate and got f*cked up in war. We all know how US developed F15 Eagel to counter Mig 25 and what it turned to be.

Chinese rely heavily on Russians and west for core high end technologies like rest of the world.
Check what India imports from China. In the top 10 items you will find computer equipment for medical purposes, engineering equipment for powerplants and electronics.
They are at the very least at par with global standards.
