They are trying to nullify our geographical/topological advantage of lower altitude airfields by constructing insane number of airfields where their numerical advantage comes into fray. Both PLA and PLAAF are preparing for war very seriously.

But 56 ji is sleeping. Doesnt want to order extra rafale or sub. Concerned about money over national security.

Won't say that our gov is sleeping as BRD has stepped up its work from previous years. But, yes Rafale deal must be expedited, no two ways about it.

If you are not ramping up military capabilities, but only border road connectivity, you are literally making high way for PLA.

S-400, MRSAM, Rafales and much more just to quash the Chinese. Chinese have head start in infra development, we're trying to develop our side too. Saying that we're not developing our military against the Chinese threat is wrong. Could more had been done? Sure. Do we need more? Yes. But whatever we've got now is good enough to counter China. With time, we're preparing too. Having said that, 2 more squadrons of Rafale should have been ordered immediately after Galwan. I think gov missed a trick here. Rafale is also a deterrent cause it's so damn good. Rafale with Meteor and MICA IR is nightmare of both PAF and PLAAF.

S400 is junk, let's forget that fact for time being. Still s400 & qrsam are defensive weapons, it can only delay the defeat for couple of days if you start fighting pla with current capabilities. 36 Rafale is nit even sufficient for PAF, forget about china.

You are underestimating the value of air defence. Soviet air defence was so dense that Americans had to change B-2s wing profile to allow it to fly low. Recently Chinese practiced low level penetration with J-20s(simulating F-35) and yet PLA AD shot down it.

Our S-400, MRSAM, Akash and other AD will work along with our BMD and IACCS and fight as one unit. Plus they would be integrated with our air and space based assets. Penetrating this would be real challenge for the Chinese and they would suffer huge losses.

Of course, they would try to saturate our IADS by H-6Ks firing long range cruise missiles from stand-off. This is a huge threat for us. Now this is where Rafale with its SPECTRA and Meteor comes into fray. If it shoots few H-6Ks, then Chinese would think twice before trying that technique.


To defeat the Chinese, our army, air force, AD and rocket force need to work as an integrated force. And rest assured that gov is doing what needs to be done.
