The same thing doesn't exist for FMS deal with US or enormous deals signed by Congress with the Russians.
If it is corruption, then review all the deals from Indira without the clause. (After the special relationship with USSR)
If descent/disagreement is worth enquiry then start with nehru/Menon for sidelining thimayya and the catastrophe of Sino-Indian war.

They aren't talking about Soverign Guarantee here Ji. This actually makes things worse. On one hand state of France has not given a guarantee and then several commercial terms that can protect the deal - like Escrow and undue influencer clauses are missing. If you are that interested in just trusting 'friends' like France, maybe you should just rewind back to what our russian friends did to the Gorshkov deal.

Do you know why IG & later RG tapped into international defence deals to line their own pockets and that of their party? And do you know why did IG adopt these socialist practises that bedevilled the Indian economy until 1991, when the PVNR/MMS duo were forced into liberalisation, it's due to political survival against the Syndicate in post Nehru / LBS Congress ( which went on to be Congress - O after the congress split in 1969) by pandering to populist leftist politics, where in her government at the centre was subsequently propped up by some of the Socialist parties , the Communists ( CPI), DMK, etc .
In fact the 1971 war itself was IG's way of consolidating her base at home. Something which paid her rich dividends in the 1971 elections ( she won by a landslide) having killed two birds with one stone - improved national security by breaking the existential threat to India from Pakistan into 2 and boosting her popularity at home.
