They have the ability to do it. The timeframe will be the surprising bit, if it's already been achieved.

But Medvedev did say they will be producing 1500 T-90Ms this year.

Their BMP/BMD production should have also achieved a significant boost.

Great news(y). Now we should go for 5 more squadrons of S-400 along with proceeding in our XRSAM/ERADS development.

Boy, we have become a SAM power in the last 5 years. S-400, MRSAM & other desi options made this possible.

Why do you want to pay more FOREX to russians while our S400 analogue is getting ready?

I said the facts,there is a difference between speaking about the things happened already and canvassing for a foreign equipment( an inferior weapon probably) when an in house weapon is available. Also almost all his posts are of like india to keep on using those Russin junks . I have genuine reason to suspect his nationality.

I would like to see S-400 manufactured in India if we order more. It's a high-end combat proven IADS. Our XRSAM is still at least 5 years away from being deployed. More the S-400/MRSAM/Akash-NG, the more complicated attacking India becomes for China/Pakistan duo.

Not exactly.

The HIMARS took out an S-400 launcher, and it was being used in an air-to-ground capacity, so it wasn't working as an active SAM component.

The Russians are using the 48N6 as a ballistic missile. All the main S-400 regiments are well outside the range of HIMARS.
