This is a total rework according to feedback. Users who feel 'its too black', give it a few days to get adjusted. Color pallet variations will be available at a later stage. The background image is also customizable.

@Ashwin Great Job! I've checked the forum on both mobile & PC. Tactical theme on mobile/PC seems very good and visually appealing with perfect background fit. On PC, after logon one more pane getting created for user info & frozen to top.

Additionally, an old issue which persists - if I use bold and underline in my sentence and then remove them, somehow the cursor comes back to the word which was made bold and underlined and the next letter goes back into that format. Have to literally type a letter then reselect and unselect the same. Example given under

I don't think this is in our control. The forum software is latest version. Can you try changing the browser ?.

I am using the first option among three. Second one will be avoided. I will try the third one once it gets stabilized.
 
The new look seems pretty good, though some might say that black looks negative.

The background map seems to show PoK as part of Pakistan. Can people confirm?
