Iraq is doing relatively well now, no civil war and Libya would be fine under democracy if various other actors weren't trying to install puppet dictatorships, e.g. Russia and China.

After 3 months and thousands of dead Russian troops and hundreds maybe thousand of tanks and armored vehicles lost in Donbas alone they will celebrate victory for being able to take a few miles of Ukraine held Donbas land from the start of the war? What it means is that Russia has just as high a percentage of neo-Nazis as Ukraine, if not more. There is discrimination within Russia too. Chechens are certainly not thought of as equal to caucasian Russians. Ukraine has many ethnicities too.

Near 30,000 dead, near 3,500 tanks/APCs and 2,200 trucks/vehicles besides. Even on a slow day, 1 Russian dies every 9 minutes in Ukraine, with another 3 seriously wounded. On a fast day about 3 times that.
That's the last thing we want, another war.
If the Russians do indeed meet their objectives, then Ukraine won't have the troops or equipment to take back the field.
He's not suggesting another war, he's talking about the same war. Russia is losing so many men and so much equipment taking the territory that it will likely lose it eventually. The war won't end just because Putin takes the Donbass (assuming he even does), those who think that are badly mistaken. The same goes for Novorossiya, although that looks like a joke right now. At 1km and 9,000-10,000 dead per month, that's going to take a long time.

yeah they are idiots, they lost more ppl than germans in ww2 ,does that mean their victory is irrelevant & useless? why dont fan boys like you accept that its NATO vs Russia, not just ukraine. Nato & US has provided military support worth nearly $60 billion thats nearly the defence budget of russia. As a matter of fact we can say its ww3 , nato vs russia.

Suppose say they lose another 50k , totaling to 80k in the process taking over 50% of ukraine ( which is bigger than france) it is still a big deal. It is a body blow to ukraine to lose sea access and half the territory.
Problem with west when they start losing they keep changing goal posts to fit their russia is losing narrative. If russia says it is going to kill ukraine but ends up short of killing but maiming it severely in the process , does that mean ukraine has won bcos it survived as a crippled country ? If thats the wests definition of victory russia would be happy to accept it. It gives them another 10-15 years of time to build up for next round of conflict.
I know about that. Most of eastern Europe and Balkans are basically backward white trash for all matters and purposes. The Russians won't stop until they don't take Odessa. I guess they will take luhansk and Donetsk, LOC-ise that region and then rush for Odessa and connect it to transnistria. They don't really want Kyiv
