no no no this is just a minute fraction of NATO's power when raptors and rafales and typhoon begin flying over ukraine, when virginia class sub attack then you can say that NATO is actually making an effort.
The opposite. While the West has superior conventional capabilities, the bigger problem for Russia in the war is NATO surveillance, which Russia cannot attack but Ukraine can use without any problems. Normally, the Russians would have made outer space somewhat unusable and their air defences would have forced NATO to give the Russians a wider berth, which means extremely low intelligence collection.
Fighter jets and submarines aren't really big enough factors to defeat Russia, the main impact has to come from ground forces. So the real question is how quickly the West can mobilise against Russia on the ground and defeat them. Pretty much all of Russia's main capabilities exists on the ground, not in the air or at sea. China is dealing with the opposite problem.
Most important to least important in terms of conventional Western threat to Russia:
Intelligence - ground forces - air forces - navies
The first two are the most important, the last two are nowhere as much. The Russian navy exists only to play a defensive role and keep some regional SLOCs open. It's not meant to win wars, it's only meant to stay alive until the ground forces do all the work. The same with the air force, it only exists to protect and support the ground forces.
You will notice that it's the supplies of ground weapons and the intelligence that's keeping Ukraine in the game. So, right now, the Russians are dealing with the full brunt of NATO's intelligence collection, and there's nothing the Russians can do about it except whine and complain.
