Ukraine - Russia Conflict

This is ridiculous, they have actually released a trailer for the offensive.

Is there gonna be an unveiling function as well? The Russians already know the troop composition and ToE of the offensive. What next? They will tell the Russians where they are attacking too?

This is more like a huge PR stunt than an actual war.

They could sell the tanks to UK, who sells them to Ukraine. :sneaky:

Your but seems hurt again, you should join Solovyov and crew.

Starts off with "Oh, no, poor European victims paying more for energy, all 'cause of Russia". Shed a tear right from the start. Those evil Russians.

Point 1: Then they claim UAF has no ability to attack Russia. Of course, but they had the ability to invade both the Donbas and Crimea. Kiev used the Minsk agreements to buy time to build up forces, this was literally revealed by the most important players. And Russia wants buffer states, not satellite states. Or will NATO demilitarise 50-100Km of land along their borders, including Finland? Point 1 is what we call hypocrisy.

Ukraine was militarised by Europeans for the sole purpose of taking back Donbas and Crimea. They used the Minsk agreements to buy time. But Western Europe had no idea the US and UK were pressuring Russia into invading Ukraine in the first place, and one such move was to convince the Ukrainians the guaranteed entry into NATO. Why else did Zelensky feel betrayed when NATO did not come in all guns blazing?

Point 2: :ROFLMAO:
The US has consistently peddled lies multiple times saying Russia plans to use bio, chem and nuclear weapons throughout the war, all for the sake of fear-mongering, targets being their own sheeple. Russia has done the same, it's just psyops, the targets being sheeple.

Point 3: Another example of Western hypocrisy. Russia was too weak to deal with NATO expansion, but they proclaimed that Ukraine was a red line. And once the US tried to pull Ukraine into their orbit, the Russians took action. It's simple, once a red line is proclaimed, the other side crossing it is a provocation. A nation state has the right to defend itself from its own neighbours. If this was 10 years later, Russia being far more powerful, they would have made some sort of move on Finland as well, for breaking treaty.

This treaty allowed Finland to join the EU, which they did in 1995.

Yeah, so Western countries can break treaties, and everybody else must accept it. Yep, Hypocrisy 101 right here, in our faces.

Ah, yes, but they will claim the treaty wasn't broken due to a mere technicality, 'cause you know, NATO is a defensive alliance and not targeted against any one single country. :ROFLMAO:

This is demonstrated by the fact the entire Global South is now doing their best to rapidly move away from Western institutions, there's been a complete breakdown of trust.

Point 4: Yep. All those Nazis in Ukraine is just a big fancy dress party. I'm sure Zelensky is gonna reverse the language law any second now.

The real story, Ukrainians were in power since the dissolution of the SU. The minute Russians came into power, these liberal fancy dressing tree-huggers decided to launch a coup party. "Kill all the Bengali-- oops, Russians!"

Ah, yes, they raised troop formations after Crimea, and were organised under the Special Police Forces, which the Third Reich used to call the SS. People forget that Nazism or neo-Nazism is an ideology, not an organisation.

So start from the beginning:

The problem for Russia is, it's these guys practically in power in Ukraine. A number of these parties now have their own military forces, like Sich, Azov and UVC.

Let's not forget they are funded by the govt.

The neo-Nazis really gained power after Yanukovych was elected in 2010. Many neo-Nazi groups were also formed after his election, and received a lot of training and funding under Petro Poroshenko. When Zelensky came to power, the neo-Nazis were already the ones running the show, they literally had their own professional militia forces by then.

Ah, but no, let's use strawman arguments, makes things much easier.

Point 5: Lol, if China takes Nepal or Bhutan, it will become an existential threat to India. If Nepal begins falling into China's clutches, even we will be forced to invade Nepal. That's the reason why great powers have buffer states in between. If that buffer is gone, then the chances of war increases drastically. And a global war is an existential threat to Russia. Less so for the Americans 'cause of distance, and if anybody else gets screwed via a land invasion, that's gonna be Western Europe.

Point 6: The separatists and Russians pre-empted a genocide. Kiev had to run back to NATO for assistance, they won't get any if they commit a genocide straightaway. Plus a lot of Donbas residents had fled into Russia as well.

There is potential for a genocide only if Ukr retake Donbas and Crimea, but even in this case, the Russians will just evacuate the residents into Russia, thereby emptying most of the region of its population. They did that in Kherson, where most Russians evacuated into Russia. Of course, the West will call it forced deportation, but it was anything but.

There have been far too many reports of Ukr forces firing at civilian convoys that were escaping warzones.

This video is made for sheeple.

They are not telegramming where and when. Consider this a psyops video for the Russians on the frontlines. Besides you can't hide the movement of that many Ukraine armored personnel. Russians and their fanboys on telegram knew an offensive was coming in Kharkiv but couldn't stop it. They knew an offensive was coming in Kherson because Ukraine would broadcast an offensive was coming and Russian couldn't stop that either and that was when Russians had better quality soldiers and equipment that is not the case now in fact it's Ukraine with the waaaay better equipment and trained men.

Russians frontline defenders and their fanboys are in for a shock.

The Russian defensive line is way too fortified.

The Kherson and Kharkiv offensives were a completely different ballgame. The former, the Russians decided not to defend, whereas the latter was only defended by a few troops, the Ukr forces had a 7:1 superiority there. The Russians had decided to fortify their positions along Kremina and have stayed there since.

This offensive is a whole different cup of tea. The route going towards Crimea is extremely well defended, there are multiple lines, at least 5 or 6 lines. And the one facing Mariupol is less defended, but if the UAF choose it, it could become a killing field 'cause it's all open terrain.

The video only has half the story.

Your links are for sheeple. When you listen to Russian media and the likes of Solovyov, only a person with an IQ lower than a tea cosy would believe them. I didn't think such a person existed, until reading your post.

Your analysis ignores the separatist wars Russia sponsored in Transnistria and S Ossetia + Abkhazia in the early '90s before any NATO expansion. And so what if NATO expands? It's not like it's invading those countries, they asked to join, largely because Russia is such a douche.

The Global South, blah blah. Who cares, let them do what the hell they like. Let them become Russia and China's bitches and learn the hard way if they're dumb enough.

You complain that Ukraine raised defensive forces after Russia invaded their country in 2014. Seriously?

Evacuated them, like all those children it kidnapped, some of which have now been returned to their parents in Ukraine thankfully.

Russia has been firing at civilians the entire war. Sometimes point blank.

Bellingcat says.... Belling cat? What does that even mean? What it sounds like it means isn't good at all. The BJP could be a far right extremist party if an enemy wished to portray it that way for the sake of justifying an invasion. You think Russia doesn't teach patriotism? Russian ultra-nationalists are running the damn country and the media in Russia. Just listen to them FFS.

Funny how all your arguments are just strawmen or red herrings, never to the point.

You have no point. 2014 was what happens when you promise something important in an election an then do the opposite, and whatever it was it happened inside Ukraine and was a matter for Ukrainians alone.

It was never about Nazis and discrimination for a second, it was only ever about Russia losing economic markets and Sevastopol. The rest is an entire net of red herrings.

But ask yourself, do you ever hear any news/media broadcasts in civilised countries that sound like those from Russia?
