Air Battle over Kashmir : MiG-21 Bison shoots down F-16

While we are Forcing the Pak Army to Vacate Posts on the LOC ; as is being reported on Twitter and also by @Falcon
The Pakistanis are howling like Jackals

Bro, of the 12 F-16s, nine were mainatining BARCAP. What forced and caused these three to come close to LOC? Was it a trap to lure MKIs or something very different? Why did MKis go over the ammo dump and hold instead of engaging these guys?
Was it not to provide max jamming power in the area of max threat and save the VA/VP? Abhi flew very close to this MKI and lost contact with GCIO. Do I need to say more? PAF has released only the pic and video feed of this very target. WHY???
Why not other bombs? Socho bhai. Use your brains.
If my info is correct, they fired ober four of them on this facility and they all flew off in different places. The video feed is of the closest which came. Other bombs missed by a very very large distance. FYI, a dumb Arty shell has better accuracy. Infact even Mortars have better accuracy than this.

Apparently as many as 11-12 bombs were fired in total.

And we know for a fact all failed.

no one here is going to believe that su 30 was shot down,it's an outright lie.the question some of the members has raised that "why IAF was surprised" .
last night you had hit balakot (whose precisionn /efficacy raises question) and still allowed enemy the very next day to fire 7 bombs and 4 amram .while you were put on defensive ,this raises questions about the decision makers in IAF .

Dunno what is this surprise that people keep talking about.

Mig-21 - 1:30 until take off.

And during times like Balakot, you can expect some pilots to already be sitting in the cockpit or are at least right next to their planes.

For example, how long do you think it will take for these 2 MKIs at Bhatinda to take to the sky?

MKI has two engines and a two man crew. Till every ladder is removed, it can't be started off. 30seconds for pilots to strap in and punch start button for first engine. another 15 secs for the engine to light up followed by second engine. that makes it one minute. First and second engine stabilising takes another 45 seconds. All ground equipment is waived off with lighting up of second engine and weapons made live takes another 15 seconds. Line up and take off another 30 seconds and acceleration to supersonic speed and climb to 42K with armament live another one minute minute and thirty seconds. A Su-30 wil, take five minutes to get airborne even if pilots are next to it. Now do ypu know whay I had stated while designing MSA that IAF does not have a first day, first show aircraft?
Gnat used to get airborne within 45 seconds as it had an air starter and single engine and single seat.

I have no need, to wait, to analyze the national secrets and the reasons for which they have been issued to the eyes deemed necessary, I absolutely don't need to divulge anything significant, especially about the previous meeting with our "esteemed" neighbor in AP high altitude area under Dimapur corps AOA. Neither you have the means to know & capacity to understand the mass scale attack done on our cyber infrastructure, I wouldn't tell you when, where & how. Seems post is getting longer and painful to bring back memories. You have a blessed day. Thank you.

Good for ya. Then let all us mortals wait for information over decades like other mortals do. I don't mind waiting.

The Cyber attack that you Referred to
It was reported but in very low scale and that too by portraying in media as just a suspected malfunction case, an advanced tech based organization name was leaked as diversion by those responsible to prevent the attack, nothing more nothing less. Thank you.

Yep, 5 min for a twin engine aircraft. Less than 2 min for a single engine.

I believe that's the point of LCA/MWF as well.

he has raised a very pertinent point but instead of countering it logically ppl are patronising and giving sermons .this is a democracy and no one can claim to be the repository of ultimate truth .we are not some banana republic where questions cant be asked.
the point is when we acknowledge we improve .
frankly the performance of IAF has left a lot to be desired ,lost in the meandering mirage of gold plated weapons.
all you want to say is IAF must do chest thumping and do press conferences all the time and come on tv for every operation they undertake ? what else you mean kindly explain . cancer is generally detected when the time is near , but scratches on the skin can be seen easily and we have abhinandan scratches eposide for gafoora here . pakistan is dhobi ka kutta now . they will now fight from twitter or in jalsas for long period of time till mohamad ke jihadi stand against them ultimately .

Mig-21 has an engine start sequence of 45 seconds but it still could get airborne in less than two minutes as the intake is in the nose and does not interfere with anyother thing. The pilot would jump in and punch start button while still still strapping on and ground crew on ladder.

@VSTOL, FALCON.. A question here..
Considering that a similar scenario unfolds in the near future, and the fact that PAF standoff weapons could target our installations near the loc, from pok or Pakistani Punjab itself. How could the IAF respond ? Will the IAF AD systems and fighters fire at PAF fighters across the loc? What about firing across IB ? SOP applicable ? Or will it be just trying to get a lock on PAF aircrafts hoping that they don't drop their ordnance...

The Cyber attack that you Referred to

We got hit by a billion cyber attacks only last year, and that's only the reported ones. And even more this year.

More than half are linked to the Chinese. The Chinese even managed to hack into our satellites, which they can do in their sleep.

Yep. That's why I consider it unmatched for our needs.
