Without Foreign help ; can we make AMCA

Someday we will need a Fifth Gen plane whether it is F 35 or PAK FA
How long can we avoid this decision

After 2025 ; IAF will start complaining about No Fifth Gen plane in IAF fleet

J 20 Block 2 and Block 3 will be better than Rafale
 
Japan, India and UK sign up to develop le new fifth generation aircraft with lockheed assistance?

UK has to replace the Typhoons by the 2035's, Japan has to replace F-15's by a similar timeline. India can retire the mig27-29's replacing with this new plane.

Even add in Israeli avionics, EJ200 can be developed into a fifth gen engine.

I don't think Indo Russian defence ties are so easy to break given our dependence on them for spares , critical technology like N Subs & reactors besides other wares like S-400/500 which may not have a replacement in the market and if there is one , we may not get it at our terms ( price & ToT with MII ) and given Russia's financial woes ?

Strong possibility - heavy twin engined fighters and some SAMs .. directly as they know Chinese versions will anyway come so first mover before them and lock up some money..

No black projects.. all Pakistan black project work is with China only.. no other country nor any control or expertise. It's fully done via China route and their planning+ control. So unless China allows it, no black project access to Russia

Provided China allows that, they already locked up next 10 years defence contracts by holding them ransom in the name of CPEC.

Also by black projects I think he means how will this closeness of RusPak affect our black projects with Russia.


There is also a long pending popular request of weather update.

Only if the jet is built with hypersonic speed.

We already have AMCA for other purposes.
