The issue is not about Galwan valley, the issue is about whole Aksai Chin. You can't segregate Galwan from Aksai Chin( EastLadakh). The similar trick was implemented by Pakistan while they were planning an assault to capture Siachen. They also wanted to see different from whole (former J&K state)

My point is when Modi ji said that Chinese have not intruded Indian territory this means Aksai Chin is not Indian territory? Chinese are already 200km in Aksai Chin. That's why it is called as Aksai Chin. His statement will be used against Indian design one day.

I don't think they are seeking a border settlement. They don't need it. It is the biggest tool in their inventory to undermine us whenever they want. For me it was a military coercion to gain
diplo-economic concessions from the starting. But with this Galwan valley incident they have messed it badly.
